The Pakistan Electronic Media Regulatory Authority (PEMRA) has once again proved that it is no fun and games when it comes to strict business. It should be recalled that PEMRA recently restricted Pakistani Media to not to promote the latest Salman Khan flick ‘Ek Tha Tiger’ due to its anti-ISI motives and theme. The restriction was then resulted for the film’s limitation of not being screened in the cinemas of Pakistan and now, PEMRA has taken another bold step.

As of late, PEMRA feels that it is their duty to make sure that no Pakistani channel ever get the chance to air an Indian serial and therefore, was forced to issue several show cause notices which was concerned to a particular Pakistani private television channel; reminding it that Indian serials are banned in Pakistan and are not allowed to be broadcasted.

It is worth mentioning here that No TV Channel of Pakistan is allowed to be broadcasted in any part of India. The Pakistani slaves of the pathetic Indian serials filled with 95% suspense of screening faces with screams at the background and 5% story may feel sorry about it but the fact is simple and clear: PEMRA is doing the right thing. The declaration was made by PEMRA as a response to a petition filed against it in Lahore High Court.
