Saeeda Imtiaz, an upcoming Pakistani actress, who is making her debut in a much-delayed Pakistani biographical film “Kaptaan”, has now decided to try her luck in B-Town.
“Kaptaan” is based on the biography of Cricketer turned Politician, Imran Khan. It is the story of Imran Khan’s life post the cricket world cup victory 1992. It follows the events that have shaped up his life; from the tragic death of Imran’s mother to his struggle in building the 1st cancer hospital of Pakistan, being the first chancellor of the university of Bradford and building of Namal University.
Saeeda is playing very important role of Jemima Khan(ex-wife of Imran Khan) in the film. The movie also illustrate her adjustments from a western culture to an Asian culture. Music from the film has received very positive response, which features music of Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan and Noori among others. This highly anticipated movie is expected to be released in 2012.
Saeeda is currently staying in Mumbai, she has done more than hundred of ads before trying for Hindi films in India.
