PCB and PepsiCo join hands with the EDHI Foundation for a better Pakistan

The Giants mentioned above need no introduction but there is no denying that they have always worked in the interest of the people. With the Edhi Foundation being one of the most respected charitable organizations, in not just Pakistan but also worldwide, PepsiCo and PCB have joined hands to support it.

PepsiCo has been associated with the PCB for as long as most of us can remember and now this association has taken a noble step with PCB declaring Edhi Foundation as their charity partner and PepsiCo making a generous donation of 1 Million to the Foundation. This donation will not only help the needy people at Edhi Foundation at an instance but will also encourage other companies as well as individuals to take a positive step towards the people in need.

This declaration was seen on the 17th of June at a ceremony organised by PepsiCo. Grandson of Abdul Sattar Edhi, Saad Edhi was handed over the amount by representatives of PepsiCo that included their General Manager, Jahanzeb Khan and the Head of Marketing, Salman Butt. Saad Edhi, being one of the trustees of Edhi Foundation, accepted the donation graciously.

Fortunately, this is not the first time PepsiCo has taken an initiative to support the underprivileged in Pakistan. They have successfully run campaigns like #Lightinguplives in order to provide eco-friendly electricity to the ones in need. A move that many acknowledged and stood up with. A lot of these campaigns, especially in the month of Ramzan make it clear that PepsiCo has always been very CSR conscious.

Cricket and PepsiCo have been favourites of the Pakistani public since a really long time and after the collaboration with one of the most loved men of Pakistan, rightly so!
