The most recent Bollywood flick, Fitoor stars B-Town’s favourite diva Katrina Kaif, the diverse Aditya Roy Kapoor and the veteran Tabu in lead roles and is all set to release this 12th of February. According to a reliable source close to Imran Abbas, the Pakistani heartthrob was offered the lead negative in the film. It is a Bollywood adaption of the best selling novel, Great Expectations by Charles Dickens – which is a coming of age novel which depicts the personal growth and development of an orphan nicknamed Pip. The source further revealed that Abbas was about to sign the film but couldn’t get the visa to Srinagar, where the shoot was scheduled. Interestingly enough Katrina’s name in the film is Firdous Jan Naqvi (Imran’s full name being Imran Abbas Naqvi), is it just a coincidence or the director was desperate to leave a hint of our very own stud in his film. The character which Abbas was offered is now being portrayed by filmmaker Mahesh Bhatt’s son, Rahul Bhatt of Bigg Boss Season 4 fame. In a recent interview with Fizzzzz e-mag, the star himself revealed that he was offered films such as Aashqui 2 and Ram Leela in the past but due to the circumstances, he couldn’t go to India for them.
