The news is BIG ! Pakistani Rock band Call has announced to reunite after three long years. Zulfiqar Jabbar Khan aka Xulfi announced the news on his Facebook profile. “We are back to make music again, to perform for you again, to follow our dreams and to make you a part of our journey, once again,” announces Xulfi.
Addressing Call band fans, Xulfi posted the following status on his Facebook profile;
“To All CALL Fans!
Today, CALL jams after three years.
I woke up yesterday to a plethora of messages, missed calls, posts all congratulating us for the reunion. I haven’t been able to properly thank every one of you for the massive response as I had been caught up with some recording deadlines in my studio. So, before any delay, THANK YOU! I wouldn’t be wrong if I tell you that it’s been an emotional few days; from the moment we decided to reunite once again to your great support and encouragement on hearing the news. Yes, we are back to make music again, to perform for you again, to follow our dreams and to make you a part of our journey, once again. Nothing beats the excitement, the rush that comes with performing live on stage and we haven’t forgotten every single moment you sang with us, headbanged with us.
You guys are the reason we are together again! Since CALL was away, you kept on telling us to come back. We have bowed down to your pressure and we are glad we did(smile emoticon)
Love you!”
The band released their last track Main Aisa Hi Hon three years ago. Later they split up, lead vocalist Junaid Khan started his career in acting and Xulfi got busy with Nescafe basement.
Call band drummer Ken Zerick seemed super excited. “Super excited jamming with #Call after three years haaaannyaaar bringitonnnn !!!,” he poster on his Facebook profile.
