Rock band Karavan to Reunite

Metal heads of Pakistan! Get ready for one hell of a news: Rock band Karavan is set to make a comeback! For those unfamiliar with the band, then I must say that you have missed fifteen long years of well-composed rock music.

The band hails from Karachi and consists of one of the most talented musicians in the country: Tanseer Ahmed Daar (lead vocalist), Allan Smith (drummer), Sameer Ahmed (bass guitarist) and of course the backbone of the band, Asad Ahmed (lead guitarist). The band spent 15 years together rocking city to city all over Pakistan and never failed to make an impact in the rock music scene. Last summer, the band called it a day as guitarst Asad posted the following on the band’s official page:

“After 15 years of rocking you, with Rakh Aas all the way till Saara Jahan last year, we feel the time has come to say goodbye. The reasons are many but in a nutshell i think all of us want to do our own thing musically, domestically and otherwise.”

As of late, vocalist Tanseer and drummer Allan, during a recent conversation with City FM 89’s Wes Malik on drive thru, revealed that the band has decided to make a comeback to where they belong: the Pakistani music industry. However, the reunion heavily depends upon lead guitarists Asad Ahmed’s prior tour commitment and when he gets free. Whatever the future holds, lets hope the only way the reunion goes is “Aagey hi Aagey”.
