Raeth Band in BollywoodPakistani Pop and Rock Band Raeth will make its Bollywood debut in upcoming movie “Marksheet”.

The band Raeth, which got popular in Pakistan with hits like “Bhula Do” and “Waada”, will now be composing a song for a Bollywood Movie. According to the latest news reports from India, Raeth Band will be composing a song for the film Marksheet, directed by Rakesh Ranjan Kumar and starring Delhi boy Imran Zahid.

The three-members band consisting of Wajhi Farooqui, Hassan Farabi and Sunny Ghansham are excited about their bollywood Project. While talking to media, they said:

“We are really excited about entering Bollywood through a project like Marksheet. Making music for us is a collective effort. Often you find that only playback is given importance even when a band is taken aboard. But the makers of the film are not limiting our capability and have given us a chance to perform together with our original sound which is a welcome step for musicians”

Now this seems like a good opportunity for the band, as even if the film is not of some really big budget but as we learned above, makers are not limiting their talent. It is also being said that movie will be made under the guidance of Mahest Bhatt.

The song by Raeth will be shot soon in Delhi University, with students of the campus.
