For the Sonic Peacemaker Charity Concert, a press conference was held on 20th March at Gloria Jean’s Karachi Branch. Todd Shea along with the Strings duo, Faisal Kapadia and Bilal Maqsood, spoke to the local media at this moment.
Shea, who was wearing an “Azm-e-Alishan” Tee, said confidently that if we can show the real Pakistan to the World, we can stop drone attacks. He also announced about the CD that he has complied called “Sounds of Pakistan and Beyond“. He also told the media that leading Pakistani Artists including Rahat Fateh Ali Khan, Atif Aslam and Strings Band have given their songs for free for this CD.
For the promotion of CD to raise funds for humanitarian work, a mega charity concert is being organized on 24th March 2012 at Carlton Hotel Karachi. Strings, Lanny Cordolla and Todd Shea will be performing LIVE at the event. You can also help with the cause by joining the event here
