Dreamers – A Telefilm/Drama for YOUTH from AAG TV (Episode 1)

After a long span of time, a new telefilm (seems more like a drama serial) has just been started from the Country’s biggest youth oriented channel AAG TV. The drama called as ‘Dreamers’ was being advertised on the channel for last many months. Finally it has been on-aired on 10^th janurary 2010 and as of now 2 episodes of it has been broadcasted.

The ‘Dreamers’ is all about College and students’ life , love and friendships , jealousy and fun. It is directed by the young director ‘Azfar Ali’ who together with his wife and his friend Mani, has also produced various youth oriented productions, including a famous sitcom ‘Sub Set hai’. This time he is doing his job from behind the camera.

Story Introduction:

Maya, a young college going girl starts receiving anonymous text messages revealing every detail of what she was doing, where she was or even what attire was she in. Mr. Anonymous asks her to meet him in the other block when she suspects it to be the college heart throb Mickey, who candidly flirts around her. When Maya figures out it isn’t him, she speaks to her best friend “Agha” who takes a promise that she wouldn’t ever go to the other block, but in heart she really wants to.

Characters:

Mickey :

Dreamers feature a very hot,young and handsome model – Shahzad Shaikh. Shahzad started his career in showbiz with modeling and now dreamers is his debut acting venture. He is also the son of a Famous Film Actor Javed Shaikh Sahab (yes the actor who recently played the father’s role of Shahrukh Khan in a bollywood movie)

Maya:

Another young face – Ainny Jaffri – is doing a female lead role in Dreamers. Her role seems very strong as the story is going to be a LOVE-TRIANGLE.

Agha :

Yes, the third guy makes the story crispy. Furqan Qureshi who is acting as AGHA is a tall and strong guy, but very much shy in his nature. He Loves “Maya”, who also adores him and use him for her “homeworks” but AGHA fails to express his feelings to Maya.

There is a lot more interesting in “Dreamers” . It has some very nice humorous dialog along with casual language and terms (that is normally used by young girls and guys in campuses and routine life). This drama definitely gonna target the young students of urban cities. If you are one of them, you are not gonna miss it for sure.Its already making buzz among youngsters over internet.

Background Music for the Play:

Music for this play is completely taken from Pakistani Music Industry. As the “Fire records” is an associate of AAG TV and have signed all the major Pakistani Artists with their label. Their tracks are massively being used as the background music for Dreamers.

In dreamers, you will be hearing the song clips of Zeb and Haniya, Kaavish and even Entity Paradim (who hasn’t even signed with the Record Label)
