About Zara :
Zara Choudhry was born in Lahore, Pakistan on December 12, 1989. She moved to the United States at the age of 10 to further her education. She grew up in Texas and later in New York. Zara graduated from High School in 2007 and is now attending College.She is an Accounting major and is planning to finish her Masters in 2013.
Aside from being an Accounting major, Zara has a passion for music and she loves to sing. She has a strong background when it comes to music and she desires to carry on with her singing and develop a career from it. She never learned how to sing, it’s believed to be a gifted talent. She plans on becoming a recognized classical and folk singer one day and wants to make her family and friends proud. Zara’s role models are Noor Jahan, Rahat Fateh Ali Khan and Shreya Ghosal.
Zara’s most passionate hobby is to listen to her favorite songs and practice with them. She enjoys spending quality time with her family and friends. She is always there for people who mean the most to her. Zara calls herself a shopaholic. She also likes to beach/sun tan, text, dance, and eat out (her favorite food is Desi). Zara loves to model and has done some modeling in the past. She also likes to socialize with friends and relatives; she loves to have fun.
While Zara was in Pakistan for vacation in July’10, her sister and best friend Annie Khalid, also known as our favorite princess Mahiya Girl, pushed her to make a single with Ali Mustafa. Zara took her advice into consideration and went to make her single “Yaadan Teriyan” with Ali Mustafa. Zara wants to give a special thanks to “Annie Khalid” for that push because she was always scared to make her own song and if it wasn’t for “Annie Khalid” she wouldn’t be able to do it.
Ali Mustafa is one of the best producers in Pakistan. Zara had a blast producing her song with him and her over all experience was amazing. Zara is planning on making her album in the upcoming year with Ali Mustafa and his team and she’s looking forward to it.
Zara’s first production is called “Yaadan Teriyan” written by “Mubashar Hassan”. Vocal conductor “Sajjad Hussain” and produced by the one and only “Ali Mustafa”. They are all amazing people to work with Zara said. She would’ve never thought that she would be given the opportunity to work with such great people and make her single. Zara proclaimed she had a great time recording her song and she will never forget those moments.
