Atif Aslam as a Brand Ambassador of Warid – Who will get more benefit ?

It is not less than a “Shock” for me that Atif Aslam – the most popular celebrity of Pakistan – has been signed as a Brand Ambassador of Warid Telecom.
Warid Telecom is not the most popular thing in Pakistan & in the Niche, where it is operating, Brands like Mobilink, Telenor & Ufone are ruling. We have already seen Ali Zafar as a brand ambassador of Telenor Talk Shawk and then of Mobilink.Both brands Ali joined, are very strong & popular among Youth especially Telenor .
Atif Aslam’s collobration with Warid, would help Warid more than Atif, to increase its sales & connections. As the Super Star of Pakistan has huge fan following, his die-heart fans won’t even take time to switch over to his connection.
Interestingly, Atif Aslam is using Ufone’s number (not sure if he’s got other numbers too) and Mobilink connection is being used by his brother Shahzad Aslam.
The thing to see is whether they will convert their numbers to Warid or stay with their earlier networks. Upcoming ads from Warid should & would reveal it but they should specifically “show” that Atif Aslam is on Warid now, else the company will not get any benefit from this deal.
