Some people just don’t go away. Dr Aamir Liaquat Hussain, despite having fake degrees and having a leaked video of himself abusing, has managed to “capture” the hearts of millions. At least that is what his co-worker Shaista Wahidi claims.
Dr Shaista Wahidi, the host of Geo TV’s morning show “Utho Jago Pakistan” has said that due to the performance in his come comeback religious television show “Pehchan Ramazan”, the controversial host has won the respect of millions of viewers. The female host was extremely bold on her views regarding her fellow worker as she states, “I had introduced religious program in the morning show following in the footsteps of Aamir Liaquat and not only myself but almost all the channels are trying to copy the trend set by Aamir.” While on her way to attend the program, she witnessed hundreds of enthusiastic people outside who were very keen on participating on the show; citing this as a proof of the immense love people have for Aamir Liaquat.
Despite Liaquat’s attempts such as financially aiding the poor on behalf of Mahmooda Sultana Foundation and hosting a multiple record holding Ramazan show, Shaista Wahidi’s bold claim is still higly questionable to say the least.
