Kareena Kappor and Saif Ali Khan has been one of the most popular and talked about couples in recent years in India and kept their personal issues quite a big secret but thanks to Saif Ali Khan’s mother, actress Sharmila Tagore has confirmed that her beloved son will be getting hitched with Kareena Kapoor on the 16th of October 2012.
Kareena Kapoor, when asked about the wedding date, stated, “Only thing is that we have not decided where it will be and when it will be. So, whenever we will decide, we shall talk.” Leaving the excitements aside, it should be recalled that the duo do not share the same religion as Saif is a Muslim and Kareena is a Hindu; raising the question in everybody’s mind whether Kareena will convert to Islam after her marriage or not.
Kareena Kapoor’s would-be mother-in-law converted to Islam after marrying cricketer Mansur Ali Pataudi and changed her name to Ayesha Begum. When asked about following the same path, Kareena Kapoor answered, “That’s a very wrong question, which I will not be answering.”
