Fawad Afzal Khan (wildly popular as Ashar of Humsafar) has decided to lauch his own clothing line. The brand is named as “Silk by Fawad khan”.
Fawad is prehaps the most adorable personality for a Pakistani women’s point of view and now he has decided to take benefit of this blessing. He got his sky high fame after the success of Humsafar.
Silk is a a premium casual and semi-formal ready to wear clothing brand, in which he has the collaboration of his wife and SILK designer, Sadaf Khan. As the name of the brand suggests, the brand’s design will be based purely on silk. Talking about silk, Fawad said,“Having acted, modelled and been a musician, I am looking forward to this new entrepreneurial venture. SILK was born when Sadaf and I decided to collaborate to make our vision, for women to dress in simple clean-cut styles in crisp fabric, a proper venture. With our brand, we have made a humble attempt to branch away from the lawn focus and instead pioneer a new focus on premium fabric promising exemplary quality in design and stitching.”
The Brand’s debut collection will be the mixture of western and eastern trends. All ensembles are designed in bright colors with some adorned with embellishments. Silk’s staff reported,”For our debut collection, while most designs are based simply on their colour and print appeal, we have also designed some with a more semi-formal flavour adorned with traditional and modern embellishments in celebration of the upcoming Eid festivities.”
The singer turned actor will be giving the début of his first designer brand on 3rd August 2012 at PFDC Mall One in Lahore.
