Pakistani Drama “Dhoop Kinare” gets a remake in India after 25 years

If in case you are tuning Indian Channels these days, you might have seen the trailers of a new drama serial ‘Kuch to log Kahenge’ on Sony TV and felt the highlights similar to some other drama. Yes, this drama is the remake of hit Pakistani drama ‘Dhoop Kinare’, which starred popular TV actors Marina Khan and Rahat Kazmi with Badar Khalil acting as a negative character.

Kuch To Log Kahenge on Sony TV is a remake of Pakistani Drama Dhoop KinareRajan Shahi, an Indian Director, will now be directing the remake of ‘Dhoop Kinare’ and the two hour story of ‘Dhoop Kinare’ is also rewritten by well-known Indian writer Kamlesh Pandey. The production house was looking forward to do something new and after that they approached original writer Haseena Moin and took her permission to remake this drama after 25 years.

Furthermore, Kamlesh Pandey when contacted said “Dhoop Kinare had brought two countries together back then. And if Kuch To Log Kahenge manages to do the same then I would say I have succeeded in my work.”
