[Pakistan, Saturday, 5th October, 2013]:Farhad Humayun and his band Overload are all set to work on exciting new and recurring projects this fall / winter season. Overload has enjoyed great success recently with Coke Studio Season 5 and the production of Pepsi Smash which re-launched Pepsi on the music arena. Regarding not being involved in the next season of Pepsi Smash, Farhad has this to say: “I have built a brand for Pepsi but have declined to produce another season due to creative differences and the fact that Sheraz and I are too busy with Overload.”
Farhad Humayun formally announces Season 2 of his popular project Live At The Apartment which will feature a new wave of influential bands and artists “who most consider to be the underdogs”, he comments. “We intend to change the face of Pakistani music and showcase contemporary and progressive music being created in the country”, further explains Farhad. Season 2 of Live At The Apartment is all set to begin at the end of October, 2013.
Farhad Humayun is extremely honored to be invited to Washington D.C. by OPEN [Washington DC Chapter] – Organization of Pakistani Entrepreneurs of North America – on 26th October, 2013, as a keynote speaker. Representing Overload, he will speak about music entrepreneurship in Pakistan alongside people such as Mr. Imran Khan, speaking on leadership and Mr. Sanjay, President of The World Bank Institute, speaking about Enterprise.
