Pakistani singer Atif Aslam, who is scheduled to perform in Indian city Pune on April 25, 2015, has been threatened by Hindu extremist religious party Shiv Sena. “Aslam is a Pakistani artist and we oppose his performance in Pune. The organiser better cancel it now, or else we won’t let the event happen,” threatened senior Shiv Sena leader from Pune, Ajay Bhosale.
Atif Aslam has recently made his comeback in Bollywood and is currently busy in shooting a music video “Zindagi Aa Raha Houn Main,” with Tiger Shroff.

“Since day one we have been opposing Pakistani artists and our stand always has been the same. Pakistan is attacking us from every corner. How can we welcome their artists?,” another Shiv Sena leader told to Indian newspapers.
This is not the first time that Indian extremist party Shiv Sena has threatened Pakistani stars. They have attacked Meekal Hasan Band’s press conference in Mumbai, they have protested against Pakistan Women Cricket Team during 2011 Cricket World Cup in India, they have threatened Rahat Fateh Ali Khan, Veena Malik, and other celebrities.
