Update: Fawad Khan Won Best Bollywood Debut Award
Pakistani actor Fawad Khan has been nominated for the award of Best Bollywood Debut at Masala Awards 2014. Ali Zafar and Imran Abbas have also made their debut in Bollywood but Fawad Khan is the first to actor to get nominated for this category. Along with Fawad Khan, Pakistani actress Humaima Malik will also be representing Pakistan in Bollywood awards going to be held next month in Dubai.
Fawad made his film debut with Shoaib Mansoor’s directed movie Khuda Key Liey, the movie considered the first step in revival of Pakistani cinema. He made his Bollywood debut this year with Sonam Kapoor, the daughter of veteran Bollywood actor Anil Kapoor.
The Pakistani heartthrob is currently having his time of life. His drama serials Zindagi Gulzar Hai and Humsafer received highest ever ratings for Pakistani drama in World.
Earlier, Ali Zafar and Imran Abbas also made their debut in Bollywood, specifically Ali Zafar a couple of big Bollywood production but it seemed like that these two did not success to impress the critics more than Fawad Khan.
Fawad Khan acting skills in Khoobsurat, his debut Bollywood movie, was highly appreciated by critics in India and Pakistan.
