UTHO GEO PAKISTAN is a new morning show with Bushra Ansari as the host and her first guests included Humayun Saeed and Aisha Khan on Tuesday, 18th August.
The show began with Bushra aapa’s song “Ishq Aatish”, and followed the entrance of her first guest Humayun Saeed; he is set to be seen on the silver screen in MANTO The Film on 11th September. Saeed, in turn, introduced Aisha Khan in a mukhtalif yet welcoming way; she plays Dil Meher in drama serial ‘Dil Ishq’ every Wednesday.
Saeed began with some playful buraiyan of Khan and after every burai we would hear the phrase “lekin woh khoobsurat bohat hain”.
Aisha is one of the most attractive television actresses Pakistan has, and her look on the show complimented her. Khan wore a chiffon floor length kurta in beige with hints of the color peach, with silver and gold sequins and stone-embroidery on black velvet on the neck and shoulders. Her hair was kept loose, with light, barely there make-up. On the other hand, Bushra Ansari the host of the show, a glamorous individual, wore a bright pink chiffon kameez, with trendy and fashionable floral and jamawaar cigarette pants. Her matching pink peep-toe sandals as well as her hoop earrings meshed the whole look. Humayun, the man of the hour, wore a light blue button-down shirt, with dark blue-grey jeans and a charcoal grey blazer which fit him perfectly.
The host and guests chit-chatted throughout the show with one another, Humayun was asked to describe MANTO The Film in one word and his response was, “Manto is Brilliant!”
The first look of the film proved there is much to look forward to, and Humayun’s corroboration on the brilliance of it at all is making us restless!
