After kicking off from Lahore a couple of weeks ago, Samsung Galaxy A-Series Tour has reached Karachi, featuring the brand ambassador Farhad Humayun’s band Overload and a Canadian Indo-Pak band Josh. The event was held at a private university in Karachi and witnessed by more than 500 students from differen universities. It was hosted by VJ Shahzad. Galaxy A-Series Tour is designed and managed by JbnJaws Productions.
The event in Karachi was kicked off by Overload, featuring a new lead guitarist Aziz Ibrahim from US and Dhol artist Nasir Saien from Sialkot. The band performed a few songs including their most viral number “Dhol Bajey Ga’ and a special Dhamal performance. Canadian Indo-Pak band Josh was the next to jump on stage and entertained the fully charged crowd in Karachi. They performed a few songs from their album ‘Beyond Qismat.’
Apart from power packed performances by Overload and Josh, the Galaxy A-Series tour also provided an opportunity for students to win a Samsung A series mobile. All they were required to do was, take a selfie with Galaxy A-Series backdrop at the venue and upload it on their Facebook profile with #NotTheNorms hashtag. Two pictures (selfie and a group selfies) with most likes won the Samsung Galaxy A3 mobile.
Samsung Galaxy A Series Tour, which has reached Karachi from Lahore, will now move to Islamabad as its next stops.
