Pakistan’s pretty boy from the fashion industry is set to adopt a role of an action hero in his very first Bollywood film, Naam Hai Boss. The model-turned-actor’s co-star will be none other than Akshay “Action” Kumar. Directed by Anthony D’Souza; the film is a remake of the Malayam film, Pokkiri Raja.
Regarding the film, Imran states, “It’s been over two weeks that I am in Mumbai. The shooting of the movie will start from next month, at the moment I’m just busy getting trained for fight and action scenes that I need to do for the movie. The other day I was doing my fight training at the Juhu beach and my skin literally got burnt and tanned in the heat. Seriously it’s not easy to be an actor, you need to know much more beyond acting. I consider myself lucky to have got the chance to act in Bollywood movies. It’s a great learning experience for me. Every day I get to learn so many new things. The Indian cinema industry is so professional and well organized I wish we had the same scenario in the Pakistan film industry too.”
This is definitely the biggest break Imran Abbas has got to date and considering the fact that he will be sharing the big screen with none other than Akshay Kumar, let’s hope Imran proves to everyone that the Pakistanis can ‘macho’ as well.
