Pakistan’s short movie Defenders won best documentary award in Rome Film Festival, announced the Inter Services Public Relation (ISPR) chief Maj. Gen Asim Bajwa on his official Twitter account.
The ISPR’s creative team – Col Salahuddin, Maj Hassan Miraj and Maj Imran Raza – which produced the award winning documentary, was present at Rome Film Festival to receive their award. The ISPR’s chief praised the team and tweeted that “ISPR short film ‘Defender’ wins best Documentary Award in its category at Rome Film Festival. Complements entire creative team. Proud moment”
The short documentary is a tribute to arm forces of Pakistan – Army, Air Force and Navy – who have been fighting to eradicate terrorism from the country, specially during the recently started Operation Zarb-e-Azb. The documentary gives strong message of unity.
