Karachi, April 20, 2013: Pantene Bridal Couture Week 2013 organized by Style360 kicked off to a rollicking start yesterday. The beautifully decorated lounge and red carpet area, complete with fresh flower arrangements set the tone for the evening. The ramp created on straight, modern lines gave a beautifully contemporary look in marked contrast to the more classic sets normally used at PBCW. Playing with layers and lights and images of nature the set was stark white so as not to detract attention from the clothes and gave a surreal look to the venue.

The show began with a bang with a Pantene hair mob choreographed by BodyBeat Productions and with the Pantene brand ambassador Nina Lotia appearing on the ramp for a mock hair-styling of models. Hardly had the audience caught its breath that Zainab Chhotani displayed her elegant collection comprising heavy bridals in beautiful combinations which were an instant hit. Her shopwstoppers were donned by Nida Yahsir, Fahad Mustafa,Urwa Marwa and Shaista Wahidy. Nadia Chottani came in next with her elaborate jewellery collection. Her showstopper was donned by Tamina Chaudhry.
After an exuberant performance by the charming couple, Aamina and Mohib, choreographed by BodyBeat Productions , Saim Ali came on stage with his very bling collection. Noor, Hamza Ali Abbas and Amna Malik donned his showstoppers. Mona Imran closed the first show with a collection that boasted aesthetic combinations which included saris, lehngas and peshwas. Hina Dilpazeer opened her show, Saud and Javeria appeared in her ensembles in the middle and Saira Khan in the end.
The second show opened with striking ensembles by Zaheer Abbas. Humaima Malik donned his showstopper after which Amna Ajmal displayed her colourful line. Her showstoppers were donned by Babrik Shah attired as a groom and Maira as the bride. Aamina and Mohib’s enjoyable performance followed. The show came to a vibrant and impressive end with the rich and heavily worked collection of the highly creative Asifa and Nabeel.
