Actress Resham Suggests Lollywood to Move On

Resham certainly needs no introduction. She has been in the Pakistani entertainment industry for quite some time and the veteran made it big more than once. Ever since her entry in the business with Syed Noor’s 1995 film Jeeva, the success for the young starlet was nothing but inevitable. With remarkable roles in projects such as Sangam, Jannat Ki Talaash, Dupatta Jal Raha Hai, Muhabbat Hai Kya Cheez etc, the actress has not only seen it all but also done it all.

 

Currently working in Hum TV’s drama serial Sanjha, Resham still has ace up her sleeves. As of late, the 40-year old veteran has expressed her concerns over the current state of the Pakistani entertainment and film industry. She firmly believes that the plots and stories should be more focused on; expressed Resham while expressing her anxieties upon the vitality of script writing. Not only that, she also has made her mind on giving up the traditional action movies of the country – who watches them anyway? – And finally make the step of moving on.

Resham realizes the fact that the big names and other old-timers are not going to be around to carry the legacy of the country’s film industry forever and suggests that rookies and rising stars should be polished from the experience of the veterans.
