“Music runs in my blood so music itself inspires me the most. From the very beginning, I loved listening to music. My grandfather and my father inspired me too when they used to play,” says Fateh Ali Khan, one of the most iconic, treasured and respected musicians alive in the subcontinent today.

Hailing from a musically artistic family and being a sixth generation superstar in the industry, the singer has done too much to be known nothing short than a legend. His weapon, so to speak, is a sitaar which he utilizes to hypnotize the audience in to listening his soothing voice and majestic hands as he makes it look so easy. “My instrument is Sitaar. I loved it since my childhood. I developed a passion for it. It is one of the oldest instruments and almost the entire world knows about it,” says the legendary singer.

Fateh Ali Khan enlists Pandit Ravi Shankar Ji, Ustad Rais Khan Sahab, Pandit Budhaditya Mukherjee, Ustad Shahid Parvez, Ravi Chaari, Ustad Vilayat Khan Sahab and many others as his inspirations. Appreciated by millions in the subcontinent, Fateh Ali Khan is indeed at the prime of his time as he states, “The biggest success for a musician lies in his appreciation from his fans and audience.”
