Tina Sani, undoubtedly one of the greatest classical and Urdu ghazal singer ever to walk in Pakistan, has expressed her desire to work with none other than Academy Award winner, A.R. Rehman.
Considering the fact that Tina considers India her second home, it is certainly not a surprise that she would like to work with not one but multiple Indian personnel but lists Oscar winner on the top. Regarding her desire, Tina states, “I have an endless list of Indian artistes whom I want to work with. But the one I would really like to collaborate with is A.R. Rehman, because his style of singing is similar to mine.” Similarities are indeed noticeable among the two veterans and if joined forces, the duo can very well make an impact in the music industry.
Tina Sani considers herself a big fan of the Indian legend as she enthusiastically said, “I am a big fan of him right from his ‘Roja’. I don’t know how many times I listen to his ‘Khwaja Mere Khwaja’ [Jodhaa Akbar] in a day.” Not sure if A.R. Rehman is aware of the fact that a legend like Tina Sani is his fan but if he is, he better team up for a mutual project because this combination is indeed to be looked forward to.
