While Sur Kshetra Episode 1 only introduced Indian Contestants, its Captain and Guest Judges, Sur Kshetra Episode 2 will bring forward the Pakistani Captain Atif Aslam and his selected contestants, who were picked from various cities of Pakistan.

As we reported earlier, Veteran Pakistani Singers Sajjad Ali, Hadiqa Kiani and Ustad Ghulam Ali will be the guest judge on Sur Kshetra. So this can be seen happening at the very second episode of Sur Kshetra. The Guest Judges will select Top 6 Pakistani contestants and eliminate the extra ones in the Episode 2 of Sur Kshetra.

The second installment of Sur Kshetra will be broadcasted on 9th September 2012.

Today, the second episode of Sur Kshetra was opened by Pakistan Team Captain Atif Aslam. Atif wearing a suit performed a medley on Piano. He sung his popular Bollywood song “Pehli Nazar Mein” and later connected it with a spiritual song originally sung by Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan, “Sanu Ek Pal Chain Na Aye”. The medley ended with a signature style of Atif, i.e with long alaaps.

The show host Ayesha Takia gave complimentary remarks to Atif Aslam and then asked about his team. Atif then introduced the musical geniuses from Pakistan, starting from Ustad Ghulam Ali, then Hadiqa Kiani and ended with Sajjad Ali.

After a bit chit chat, the show moves forward and Atif Aslam is asked to show the talent of his team. Atif Aslam calls the first contestant out of top 10, which were selected in the auditions. The First Contestant Ameer Ali comes on stage ! and to our surprise sings “Dil Se Rey”

Earlier in Episode 1, only Indian Contestants were introduced. The show has just fully begun and will be broadcasted in a sequence. So, don’t forget to visit our site regularly for next episodes.
