Hadiqa Kiyani, the most popular female singer of Pakistan, is currently busy in humanitarian work as she is looking forward to construct housing facilities for the flood victims.
After making her mark in the music industry with everlasting songs such as Dupatta, Boohey Barian, and Jaanan, Hadiqa is all set to construct approx. 150 houses in the flood affected areas of Nowshera, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
“MASHALLAH [with the grace of Almighty], I have constructed 50 houses at a place called ‘Mian Esa’ which is situated right ahead of Nowshera,” said an excited-looking Hadiqa Kiyani. “And now, with the help of Army, I plan to construct approximately 150 houses in ‘Banda Ismail Shaikh’ and ‘Banda Mala Khel’ which are situated right ahead of Pabbi’.”
When it comes to good causes or humanitarian works, Hadiqa has always been up-front no matter what happens. Call it anything – from the conceptual “Yeh Hum Naheen” track that featured Ali Haider, Ali Zafar, Haroon, Shafqat Amanat Ali, and Strings, to working with charities like Edhi Foundation, Muslim Hands, and Superstars for Flood Relief. Not only that, she has also donated clothes, water, and food to the flood victims of Pakistan.
Hadiqa is the only renown female singer of Pakistan, after the legendary Nazia Hassan, to be known nation-wide. And this, without a single doubt, is a great achievement. She has a character of charming voice, but in my opinion, she will be widely-known, for years to come, as a great human being, for commitments and passion for the nation of Pakistan.
