The real life story of Momi Gull, a 16-year old girl who was kidnapped and molested by terrorists for two months in Mingora during early 2009, will be aired this Friday on PTV Home at 7:40pm.

The story, “Eik Beti, Eik Kahani” is the fifth story of the currently airing drama series “Faseel-e-Jaan Se Aagay” that is based on real accounts of people who sacrificed their lives showing exemplary resilience in the face of terror.

‘Eik Beti, Eik Kahani’ is a true story of one Momi Gull, a 16-year old girl who was kidnapped and molested for about two months in Mingora region by terrorists in 2009. She was later forcibly married to a 72-year old Commander. She survived the ordeal till she was recovered by Pakistan Army in the result of Operation Rah-e-Raast.

This drama is written by Amir Raza and directed by Kashif Nisar while its cast includes Maria Khan, Farhat Abdullah, Zia Khan and Zubair Jadoon.

Drama series ‘Faseel-e-Jaan Se Aagay’ is a humble endeavour to pay homage to the courageous people of Pakistan and its armed forces whose resilience and sacrifices have turned the tide of extremism and militancy in most of the troubled areas of Pakistan. ‘Matti Ka Qarz’, ‘Meraj’, ‘Inkaar’ and ‘Ada-e-Sarfaroshi’, the first four dramas of this series have already been telecast and have received tremendous response from the audience.
