One of the best classical singers of Pakistan Shafqat Amanat Ali has been signed to judge a Indo-Pa singing competition with Indian composer and singer Shankar Mahadevan. The show, which will feature Pakistani and Indian singers, is named as ‘Asia’s Singing Superstar.’ The show will kick off from October 31st, 2015 on Geo Entertainment in Pakistan.
The auditions of the show were conducted in Pakistan, India and Dubai and contestants have been divided into two teams. Team Pakistan will be lead by Shahfqat Amanat Ali while Shankar Mahadevan will captain Indian team.
Pakistani drama actor Ahsan Khan will host one of the biggest singing show of sub-continent.
Earlier, Atif Aslam and Himesha Reshamiya did almost a same show called Sur Kshetra, which was won by Nabeel Shaukat Ali, a contestant of team Pakistan.
