Revenge of the Worthless set to release on January 6, 2016

Veteran actor Jamal Shah’s directorial debut Pakistani movie “Revenge of the Worthless” has been set to release on January 6, 2016. The film is based on Drama which is produced by Amna Shah. The story of the film revolves around the Soviet Afghan war, which later also involved Pakistan.

According to a report, the film was shot in Swat valley with some scenes in KPK’s capital Peshawar and Islamabad.

“It’s definitely double the challenges of making the film. When when you produce and direct, you are forced to make the film feasible and cut corners. Instead of paying another actor, I decided to do a character I knew I can do justice to,” Jamal Shah told to Dawn.

Revenge of the worthless

The cast of the movie includes director Jamal Shah himself, Ayub Khoso, Firdaus Jamal, Shamyl Khan, Maira Khan and Emel Karakose along with new talent, the students of Hunerkada College of Visual and Performing Arts.

The movie pays tribute to the struggles of people of Swat, specifically.
