It is happening after forty years that three Pakistani movies are set to release on independence day of Pakistan, August 14. These movies include Jami’s Moor, Asad ul Haq’s Dekh Magar Pyar Say and Hussain Shah’s Shah. Isn’t it amazing?
The more interesting thing is that all these three movies do not related with each other and have been filmed on entirly different subjects from each other.

Set and produced entirely in Lahore, Dekh Magar Pyaar Say is a a romantic-comedy, a genre which has not been recently explored by Pakistani auteurs, where STG aims to showcase the beautiful culture and history of the heart of Pakistan, Lahore.

Shah is biopic based on the the life of legendary Pakistani boxer Syed Hussain Shah. The film features mostly brand new cast, with Lahore based musician and actor Adnan Sarwar portraying Hussain Shah on the silver screen after undergoing a year long boxing training program to prepare for the role. Other cast members include Kiran Chaudhry, Sardar Baloch, Adeel Raees and Gulab Chandio.

Jami’s Moor is a tale filled with emotions bound to strike a chord with every cinema goer at some level. The plot of the movie speaks of corruption in a manner to provoke the masses to take individualistic measures to combat the social evils prevalent in our society. It is expected to breathe life into the booming film industry of Pakistan through a compilation of picturesque beauty of Baluchistan, a compelling musical score arranged by Strings backed by captivating lyrics penned by Anwar Maqsood.
