Some of you might have enjoyed the first episode of tremendous drama derial “Aunn Zara” on A-Plus. But wait? Have you missed the second one? Well, they stopped the drama and didn’t continue.
You might be thinking of the reason now? Well! “not doing proper promotion” is the reason why they didn’t continue this drama serial. People after watching the first episode praised the work and the story but the CEO of A-Plus got disappointed and said the drama serial didn’t reach the audience it deserved. Noor-ul-Huda Shah, the CEO decided to relaunch the serial with proper promotion and publicity. So, from 20th June, the drama serial will be on-aired regularly on it’s given days.
On the official page of “Aunn Zara”, it was posted:
“A-Plus’ decision to relaunch Aunn Zara has been a cause of much disappointment for its viewers – so here’s some inside info for those waiting anxiously to see it: Noor-ul-Huda Shah is a name synonymous with high quality Pakistani drama, evident in her writing for PTV and later her efforts while overseeing projects at Hum or Geo. It is her decision as the new CEO of A-Plus, to relaunch Aunn Zara with the publicity and fanfare it deserves. She has spotted a gem and we are confident that given her amazing confidence in AZ, she will go all guns blazing with its promotion to ensure that all of Pakistan tunes in to A-Plus to watch AZ when it is relaunched. We are excited that someone of her calibre and vision is working on giving AZ the mileage it deserves! See you all very very soon!”
The drama is actually based on a novel “Hisaar-e-Mohabbat” written by Faiza Iftikhar. Prouced by Shahzad Chaudhry and directed by Haissam Hussain, Aunn Zara features Maya Ali and Osman Khalid Butt in lead roles. So, all the “Aunn Zara” fans out there, don’t get disappointed as the drama will be relaunched on 20th June.
