Pakistani Singer and heart-throb of millions, Quratulain Baloch popularly known as QB, recently got an accident at Cantt near Zakir Tiqqa (Lahore), on her way to the Lahore Airport back on 3 February 2013 at 7 am. She is in serious condition in Lahore Hospital with some spinal cord injuries.
One of her band members, Husnain Aalam was also with her at the time of this sad incident, who suffered minor injuries in the accident. We are requesting our readers to please pray for a quick recovery for her and her band member from the injuries sustained in the accident.
QB jumped into music biz back in 2010, Her cover song Ankhian Nu Ren De was the starter for her career. Even though she had no classical training, she was heavily inspired by Sufi musicians, Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan, Abida Parveen, and specially Reshma, among others. Her song “Panchi”, which she recorded with Jal Band in Coke Studio, raised her profile.
