TV One has introduced musician Ali Noor as an actor in its new drama serial “Chanar Ghati”. That’s not all as after almost a decade of silence, the ‘Grand Master’ of Television Entertainment ‘Ghazanfar Ali’ is back with a bang and has directed this drama serial. Thanks to Ghazanfar Sahab, he has also brought back our favorite Indus Music VJs – Anoushay Ashraf and Dino Ali – together on the screen.
Chanar Ghati is a haunting story of intense love, betrayal and vicious revenge. It is a story that travels back and forth in time to unravel mysterious events and eerie phenomena.
In Present day, Sajid(Tipu Sharif) and Maira(Anoushay Ashraf) are colleagues in an advertising agency and start developing a romance. Then suddenly Sajid disappears while on a recce for a location in an area called Chanar Ghati. While his family and friends begin a frantic search, Sajid experiences some strange things in the environs of Chanar Ghati. Two beautiful women clad in silks and brocades appear from nowhere and play utterly charming hosts providing him all he needs. But Sajid senses that there is something sinister going on and there is an evil force around him.
On the other hand, Ali Rao(Ali Noor) who also wants to marry Maira, offers to recover Sajid. The question is whether Sajid will escape in time –or will Ali Rao allow his rival to be eliminated by the evil force. For all this to know, you will have to watch Chanar Ghati.
The Cast of the drama includes Aly Khan, Ali Noor, Shamayel, Samiya Mumtaz, Anoushey Ashraf, Dino Ali and Tipu Sharif . The drama serial is penned down by Mohammad Ahmed & Umar Khitab and is directed by none other than Ghazanfar Ali.
