The well acclaimed drama director Sarmad Khoosat is set to make his big screen directorial debut with biopic of controversial Urdu writer Saadat Hussain Manto. The movie stars Sarmad Khoosat as Manto, Sania Saeed as his wife and Saba Qamar as Noor Jehan in leading roles while Mahira Khan, Humayoun Saeed, Savera Pasha, and Faisal Qureshi will also do cameo roles.

The Bin Roye’s leading actor Mahira Khan’s role has not been much disclosed in the movie yet but the official Twitter account of the movie says, “The versatile actress Mahira Khan playing an idiosyncratic Monkey’s Master (Madari) role in Manto.”
The film is produced by Asif Raza Meer.
