Some of the big names in Pakistan entertainment industry, Shaan Shahid, Faisal Qureshi and Yasir Nawaz have shown reservations against the release of Indian movies in Pakistan. The recent reaction has come after the trailer of Salman Khan’s upcoming Bollywood movie “Bajrani Bhaijan” went on-air. The movie trailer has shown Salman Khan beating Pakistani police and Pehelwans (Wrestlers). Bajrangi Bhaijaan is due to release on this Eid with at least three Pakistani movies.

Veteran Pakistani drama director Yasir Nawaz, who’s directorial debut movie “Wrong Number” is slated to release on Eid with Bollywood movie Bajrangi Bhaijan, has posted a status on his Facebook profile with some screenshots from Bollywood movie. “ye hein bajrangbali jo is waqt pak police ki dhunayeeee farma rey hein( aab bhi lagni chaiye ye movie pakistan main )????????!!!!!!?” (He is the Bajrangi Bhaijan, who is beating Pakistan police, should it still be released in Pakistan?) asked Yasir Nawaz on his Facebook profile.

Yasir Nawaz has said that he was not actually against the release of Indian movies but both should not be released at same time. “There is a big difference between Bollywood and Pakistani movies, they invest 100 crores on one movies while we made it in five to six crores,” said Yasir.
Rubina Ashraf, a veteran actress seemed a little outburst and replied, “Sorry guys I am all for a well made movie… give me a good Pakistani product I’ll go on all fours for it but till then let me enjoy good cinema from wherever its coming…ART has no boundaries.”
