After Ali Zafar, Fawad Khan and Imran Abbas, another Pakistani actor and arguably the most influential host of recent times on Pakistani television, Fahad Mustafa has decided to make Bollywood debut this year. “I am currently working on Mah-e-Meer and will be going to India for another film. It’ll start shooting in the last quarter of this year, probably around September or October. I’ll be releasing more details very soon,” revealed Fahad in an interview to Dawn.com.
Fahad, who made his film debut with Nabeel Qureshi’s blockbuster Na Maloom Afraad, is currently working on his second Pakistani movie, Mah e Meer. He is playing the role of prominent Urdu poet, Meer Taqi Meer.

The actor added that speculation about him leaving the drama industry were lies. He said that he will be taking a break from acting in dramas but won’t leave it. “I fail to understand why people are bidding me farewell. Yes, I will not be doing dramas for a while but it’s not like I am leaving the industry for good! I don’t have any dramas lined up for at least a year but if something good comes my way, I won’t mind doing it,” added Fahad.
