What is Halloween?
According to Wikipedia,
Halloween, also known as All Hallows’ Eve, is a yearly celebration observed in a number of countries on October 31, the eve of the Western Christian feast of All Hallows’ Day. It is dedicated to remembering the dead, including saints (hallows), martyrs, and all the faithful departed believers.
Odd enough! as it doesn’t really relate with Muslims and most specifically Pakistani Culture. But as I said before there is a dearth of recreational activities here, our youth – specially the college/university going folks – is being attracted to these sort of parties.
What Happens in Halloween?
Halloween night is usually celebrated on the night of 31st October worldwide. In a typical Halloween party, you have to wear odd costumes, put weird make-up or scary mask on your face. Most of the participants do scary get-ups as the concept is very much about “departed souls”. Scared? should not be! its just for fun actually.
Anyhow, so this year there are a couple of Halloween parties or Halloween Bash being organized in Karachi only. Two of the major parties are being organized at five star hotels of Karachi; including Pearl Continental and Ramada Plaza.

how to attend these Halloween parties?
then you must have
a) money in your pockets; and
b) girl friend in your car.
Lets assume you are willing to buy a pass of worth Rs. 4,000 to 6,000 but you have no partner and you actually belong to a class of “forever alone” people then you badly need OUR advice.
You need to drive around DHA or Shahrah-e-Faisal, looking for your girl friend who can be your partner for the night. Wait, we are not asking you to look for call girls (although that can also be the option if you are such desperate and have such contacts).
The areas mentioned above offer so much more! So just look around the traffic signals, speed breakers for some one in dark black, tight skinny clothes…. Don’t get afraid if you find them, they may also be transgenders :P. and you might regret your decision but trust us , this is the way to make your way to the party. 😉
Now Hire her him for the night (Rs. 1000 will be enough as tip) and now you just have to look for a halloween costumes, masks and other accessories.

Go there, get your partner and yourself an epic costume that can cover the faces of both of you.
