Two kings of pop are coming together! On August 16, a track called “Slave to the Rhythm” hit the internet, featuring Justin Bieber and Michael Jackson trading verses. What a collaboration — listen below!
A mysterious new Justin Bieber song has hit the internet! The Biebs has apparently joined forces with the legend Michael Jackson to make a remix of the previously unreleased song, “Slave to the Rhythm” – and our minds are officially blown.
Justin Bieber Collaborates With Michael Jackson?
“Slave to the Rhythm” was a little-known song by Michael Jackson that made its way onto the internet after his death in 2010. The song that leaked today is a tweaked version of that original — Michael’s vocals and lyrics remain — that’s been made exponentially more awesome with the addition of a heavier dance beat and Justin’s charisma and singing talents!
So where the heck did this monster collaboration come from? As of now it is unclear whether this remix was meant to be officially released on a later date, or if it is a fan production, though Justin’s tweets give the impression that the track is legitimate.
Justin Bieber Tweets About Michael Jackson
Shortly after the song began making waves on Twitter, Justin began tweeting about the King of Pop.
“Excited for what is to come. MJ set the bar. Not only for music but for being an entertainer and how u treat the fans. Wish he was here…,” Justin tweeted. “All of it is not always easy but it is a blessing. We can change the world. I’m up for the challenge. Big things ahead! #greatness. love you.”
