Another Bollywood flick is going to be dumped in Pakistan. Talking about the news in detail, upcoming Bollywood action thriller David is banned in Pakistan by the film censor board.. The reason behind the ban is said to be its theme, which is hurtful to national interest, Islam or Pakistani armed forces.

David Got Banned In Pakistan

Chairman of the Central Board of Film Certification, Rai Akbar talked about the matter with a news source, and said that the film had been screened and the board felt that it failed to pass the criteria due to its controversial nature. According to the chairman, certain muslim groups in the indian community themselves have protested against the film.

Mr. Rai added,

“It was very clear that the film could not be screened in Pakistan, because it failed to pass the basic criteria given by the censor board. There were several issues with the film, but our main point was that the film was not suitable for viewing in Pakistan.

Previously, some big budgeted films like “Ek Tha Tiger” and “Agent Vinod” were also banned, for their hurtful theme for Pakistan.
