Madiha Shah, a popular stage dancer and a film actress suddenly said that she is against vulgarity, You people might be laughing after hearing that, same as we did. After spending more then 20 years in vulgar stage dancing, Madiha certainly realised that she is against vulgarity, and she supports government’s steps to eliminate vulgarity.
She started her career as a model. Zameen Asmaan, Laat Sahib, Main Ne Pyar Kiya, Pyasa Sawan, Nangey Paoon, Munda Kashmiri, Main Jeena Chahti Hoon, Nargis and Nagina. Majajun are some of her eminent films. she left movies in 1990 and then started working in stage dramas(Theatre) and her Stage show Janam janam ki meli chadar became a big succuess. Nowadays, she is mostly seen on stage shows performing mujras.
Madiha quoted,”I never used vulgarity to get fame and people like me for my quality work… I am against the vulgarity and will support the Punjab government’s steps to end it.” She also added that objective stories are the need of today’s society,the society could be benefited by using stage for teaching good moral values instead of vulgarity, she said so while having an interview with a news source.
