Shiraz Uppal, a famous Pakistani music producer and singer known for his melodious compositions, has now performed with World’s most prominent and prolific film composer A.R Rahman at One World Peace Concert Syracuse New York.
Both the singers joined their hands at One world peace concert which held in New York, Where they performed in front of 30000 American audiences. As discussed previously, the concert was termed as peace concert, so the music which was selected for the event was non other than Sufi music. Both of them sung some of the most spiritual qalams which includes, Khawaja Meray Khawaja and Kun Faya Kun live on stage setting the whole crowd feeling the spirituality in that serene arena.
Some other musicians who performed in the concert were Dave Mathews, Natasha Bedingfield, Philip Philips, Cyndi Lauper, Nelly Furtado and others. Dalai Lama also let her name to be written in the list of performers.
Shiraz Uppal had quit singing earlier this year in February and has dedicated his life for religion. But his performance with Sufi music cannot be said anything other then exceptional.
