Pakistani fashion and music icon Meesha Shafi will appear in a Hollywood flick ‘The Reluctant Fundamentalist’. The movie will be directed by Mira Nair, who is an Indian movie director and producer based in New York, USA.
Meesha will star alongside Hollywood actors Kate Hudson, Liev Schreiber and Kiefer Sutherland. While accompanying Meesha in the project from Bollywood, there will be Shabana Aazmi and Om Puri. Other cast for the movie includes Nelsan Ellis, Martin Donovan and Haluk Bilginer.
The movie will be filmed in New York, Atlanta, Lahore, Delhi and Istanbul. The movie is an adaptation of the novel ‘The Reluctant Fundamentalist’ by Pakistani-Briton Mohsin Hamid.
Looks like Pakistanis are making an impression in the showbiz world again.
