After being appointed as the Goodwill Ambassador for the Norwegian Red Cross and donating all her proceeds from the release of her British debut “Be My Baby,” Annie, was appointed the new Ambassador for the “Circle Of Life.”

The Circle of Life, a charity organization that has been working for various causes in Pakistan, was officially launched at the House of Lords on Tuesday 15th March 2011 to announce that the charity is to become an international concern to fight world poverty and famine.

Guests from all over the UK, that included the current Miss England, attended and were addressed by Saeed Hama, the Chairman of the charity, and Lord Nazir Ahmed, member of The House Of Lords, and an Ambassador of the Circle of Life.

Annie Khalid in her speech at the occasion announced that she would donate a new song, to be called, “The Circle of Life,” with all proceeds going to the charity.

The main aim of the charity is to work with organizations, businesses and other charities internationally. The Circle of Life will recruit Ambassadors to project the charity’s messages and actions. They want to become a force in the fight against world famine and poverty.

A new website and donation page will be launched soon allowing easy access for donations. Regional launches will be held in Birmingham, Manchester, Leeds, Cardiff and Glasgow, over the following months to promote the foundation.
