The most under-rated music producer cum singer of Pakistan – Shiraz Uppal – has another song in an upcoming Bollywood movie, BOYS. The Movie’s music is given by none other than the Oscar Award Winning Music Composer A.R Rahman.
‘Boys’ is an upcoming Bollywood movie, which has been directed by Shankar and features Rang De Basanti Fame Siddharth and Genelia D’ Souza in the lead roles. Shiraz uppal sung a song titled ‘Secret of Success’ for the movie which is scheduled to release in May 2011.
While talking to Instep back in 2009 Shiraz shared some additional information regarding the venture:
‘The soundtrack of the film is already a roaring hit in South India and now it’s releasing in Hindi, as is the norm with most of AR Rahman movies. I recorded the vocals in my own studio in Lahore as AR Rahman sent me the music track over the Internet. He has always been a source of inspiration for me and is the perfect music director to work with. He is simply a genius.
