Indian director, Mohit Suri, who directed such films as Woh Lamhe, Awarapan and Murder 2 is reported to now direct Aashiqui 2. For this purpose he is in search for his cast and the right actors. He is said to be considering some of the Pakistani actors to play lead roles in his film, Mustafa Zahid of Roxen Band is one name we have been hearing the most.
Mustafa Zahid had recently been to Mumbai and there he met the director who might have made him such an offer. Mustafa Zahid had also previously worked with the director. Mohit Suri is also looking for a Pakistani actress to play the lead role. Since he wants a good pairing with great on-screen chemistry.
This will not be the first time that Mohit Suri will be utilizing Pakistani talent. He had previously worked with Atif Aslam in Zeher and also with Jawad Ahmed, Annie Khalid, Raafaquat Ali Khan and others. Nothing about the report has yet been confirmed, but the rumours are such.
